That blue

IMG_3766I think this is the last painting project in our home…for now. Our very white wall next to our very white kitchen has been painted blue. Actually the same color as the one in Ava’s room. I love the result even tough the living room looks a bit smaller. Here are some before and after images for inspiration. Martin painted the wall two times to make it cover completely and spend maybe three hours on the project. So it’s an easy way to do a small, but expressive make over.

KADEAU_DEC_09_15_183I just want to show you what Martin and I are waiting for with anticipation…this beautiful pendel from Flos will be in our “tv-room” where we probably spend to much time. So why not have something nice to look at while you watch Game of Thrones…it is called IC pendel.  These cool pictures are from the restaurant Kadeau in Copenhagen.

Her hænger den i restauranten Kadeau i København.

Last week I paid a visit to one of my all time favorite brands. Located in perfect surroundings at the Paper Island in the heart of Copenhagen habour &Tradition has made a inspirational space for every design lover. Even tough I had already seen all the products designed by both well known classic designers and up and coming stars, the surroundings in the showroom made me look at them all in a different way. I actually got some new favorites…take a look!

One to visit in NYC

forside

It seems like forever since we were in New York, but looking at all the photos I took brought me back for a little while yesterday. One shop I’m going to visit once again next time I’m visiting is Michele Varian on 27 Howard St. Soho. The store has a Little bit of everything for design lovers like me and reminds me a lot of one my favorite online shops – Artilleriet. So if you are around Soho, you should take a look. Have a nice weekend!

——————–

Howard St. i Soho. God weekend!
