Everyday design

One designer worth keeping an eye on is Charlotte Høncke who since she gratuated from Aarhus School of Architecture in 2002 has been quite productive cooperating with brands like Softline, Frandsen Lighting, Bolia, Flexa, Bloomingville, BoConcept and by KlipKlap. Her style is feminine and light and the products are suitable for everyday life. Take a look at some of her latest designs.

On a Saturday morning…

Brinklercph 2Ah weekend! I know I’m on maternity leave, but weekend means family time when Martin is home and today we took time to eat a nice breakfast together. I got these nice egg trays from Kvorning Møbelsnedkeri. Perfect for setting a nice table and as an extra plate for your favorite bread. I really have a thing for wood at the moment and is on the look out for some nice cutting board you can also use for serving. Well, this was our morning and a head is a cosy day playing with Ava and going for a nice walk with Albert who is a little bit neglected having a baby in the house. I hope you will have a nice weekend! Oh, did I mention that I’m going on a trip with my sister tomorrow where we are going to stay at Bella Sky hotel in Copenhagen. Just for fun and spending some time together. I can’t wait!

Bare for at hygge os sammen. Jeg glæder mig helt vildt!

Let the light in…

Home8These days summer is back in Copenhagen. For almost a week I have woken up to a blue sky and warm temperatures even tough it’s fall. Being on maternity leave just waiting for the baby to arrive I really enjoy having time to take it all in. Today the light was so beautiful so I couldn’t help shoot a few photos of our living room. I hope you have had a great day too.

A design village

Last week I paid a visit to one of my all time favorite brands. Located in perfect surroundings at the Paper Island in the heart of Copenhagen habour &Tradition has made a inspirational space for every design lover. Even tough I had already seen all the products designed by both well known classic designers and up and coming stars, the surroundings in the showroom made me look at them all in a different way. I actually got some new favorites…take a look!
